What is "Kelo Honka"?Kelo Honka träd

Kelo Honka is a pine tree with hundreds of year of growing as polar pine with characteristic shining silver grey patina.

The slowing growing and the extreme winter conditions give the tree very tight annual rings.

The tree is losing the bark during the drying process and starting the drying colour process and give the heart the shaded in red colour tone and compact fibred with dry structure.

 

The trunk diameter varying  between 170 - 600 mm.

Kelo is a rare and valuable wood materials and is especially suitable for high quality timbered houses due to the typical properties as no shrinkage or cracks exist.

The shining silver grey surface gives nice and soft atmosphere at both indoors as outdoors in the landscape.

 

Due to the excellent winter resistant and properties is it no need of  extra surface treatment against putrefaction or insects.

Sawn timber from Kelo are also used for exclusive furniture's and panels for walls , ceilings and doors.Kelo honka snitt
